Comedy at the Ha Ha Hervey Bay Hotel with Pete Rowsthorn

Get set for a huge night of laughs as The Hervey Bay Hotel and Funny Coast Comedy present a beautifully crafted evening of LIVE STAND-UP COMEDY upstairs in the function room.

And you've got a brilliant headline act for the evening - PETE ROWSTHORN.

You'll probably know Pete from his time as 'Bretty', Kim's hapless husband on the hit Aussie comedy 'Kath and Kim' - 4 seasons plus 2 feature films and the 20th anniversary special, along with appearances on 'The Comedy Company', 'Thank God You're Here' and 'Celebrity Masterchef'- but Pete started his comedy career as a live Stand Up Comedian.

He's been selling out shows all over Australia for more than 30 years, and appeared on some of the biggest TV shows of the day including 'Hey Hey It's Saturday', 'Denton', 'Rove Live' and more. His high-energy and hilarious physicality has been seen at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Perth Fringe and all the best Comedy Clubs in Australia and overseas.

You'll be laughing all night with MICK NEVEN hosting the show and a super line-up of support acts...including a section for LOCAL OPEN MIC acts. That's right - we're looking for Wide Bay's funniest wannabe comedians to jump up for a 5 minute spot and show us what you've got.

Tickets for this show will sell out real quick...so don't muck around. Grab your pals, grab your tickets and get set to laugh yourself silly.

Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 7:30pm - make sure you get in early for a delicious dinner and a few bevvies.

LOCAL OPEN MIC COMEDIANS

The Hervey Bay Hotel and Funny Coast Comedy are looking for local Stand Up Comedians to join the line-up.

That's right - if you're a local comedian keen for a spot, or you're a local who wants to have a crack and jump up for 5 minutes, we'd love to hear from you.
