Comfort Club is an indie pop/rock trio from San Diego, CA perfect for people seeking connection in a world that feels increasingly disconnected.

Originally born from frontman Colin Tracey’s own experiences and the desire to find personal meaning through music, Comfort Club has evolved into something larger than a band. It is a community built around shared experiences, hopeless romance, nostalgia, and the universal feeling of trying to figure life out alongside everyone else with no roadmap. 

Blending the lyrical and melodic warmth of John Mayer with the emotional honesty of The 1975 and Death Cab for Cutie, Comfort Club creates songs that feel like direct conversations with those who listen. Their music speaks to the people navigating young adulthood and the loneliness and search for community that we all quietly share.

Since forming in 2018, the San Diego-based trio has amassed over 4.5m streams, earned support from KCRW and SiriusXMU, Spotify Editorial Playlists and have sold thousands of tickets across the US and England as a completely independent and DIY project. 

Comfort Club has intentionally cultivated a culture where fans regularly attend their first show alone, only to leave with new friendships and community. From pre-show hangouts, guitar hero at the merch table, and conversations with the band and other attendees as the venue lights come on long after the show, this project has created a space where strangers can feel connected in a way that feels more important than ever.

Their fans routinely travel hours to attend shows, bringing friends back the next time around and turning first-time listeners into lifelong supporters and ambassadors.
