Description:
This is a unique opportunity to experience the songs, chants and poetic inspiration of celebrated artist Benjamin van Haeff. His soul-crafted music is a gentle invitation to journey together in song; to fall in love with the precious gift of life, as well as offering healing balsam for the broken places we all carry. In this evening he will weave together songs from his new album “Coming Home” as well as other songs and stories to create an intimate gathering of connection and shared blessing. Songs for the Earth, Songs for the Heart.
Currently based in Europe, Benjamin loves “Coming Home” to the ancient lands of Australia. The South Coast holds a special place in his heart, as he grew up in the bush behind the East Lynne store (and used to go to school where Woolies now is!). In fact, Batemans Bay is the very place where his song-life journey began.
Short Bio:
Benjamin van Haeff draws from a rich palette of over two decades experience as a recording and performing artist, educator and creative catalyst. He uses his artist voice to restore our connection to the beauty of life and is passionate about inspiring others to find their voice and live their unique creative gift. His personal musical and healing journey is featured in the award winning film “Beyond the Fear of Singing” and as an artist, he believes that something special happens when communities gather in song and celebration. In the challenging times we live in, his soul-crafted songs offer us courage, hope and connection.
