Coming Home to Peace | A Workshop for Processing Anger
Event description
Coming Home to Peace
A Workshop for Processing Anger
Anger can be a fiery and consuming state. At times it surges suddenly, and other times it simmers beneath the surface. Many of us were never shown how to meet our anger in a healthy way, so it can feel overwhelming, frightening, or even shameful.
Through my own journey, I’ve found that anger doesn’t need to be suppressed or exploded outward. Instead, when we meet it through the body with curiosity and compassion, anger can transform. It can become a source of clarity, strength, and boundary.
This second workshop in the series offers simple, grounding practices rooted in Somatic Therapy—an approach that sees the body as a gateway to release, healing, and transformation. These practices are gentle yet powerful, designed to support you in meeting your anger in safe and embodied ways.
In Coming Home to Peace, we will create space to acknowledge and express anger, and then guide it into healthy movement and flow—so you can leave feeling steadier, clearer, and more at peace.
What to Expect
A safe, inclusive, and non-judgemental space to feel and honour your anger.
An opportunity to share (only if you wish) and be reminded you’re not alone.
A gentle guided journey into the body, where we create space to notice, hold, and meet anger—or whatever emotions arise.
A liberation practice to channel anger into healthy expression, allowing its energy to transform into clarity and empowerment.
Simple practices you can take home and use whenever anger arises.
A grounding practice to gently land and integrate before we leave.

A Little About Me
I discovered Somatic Practices five years ago, and they completely changed my life. Learning how to meet my emotions through the body gave me a way to move through grief, anger, and sadness with more ease and compassion. Now I feel called to share these practices with others, creating safe spaces where we can honour what we’re feeling and gently return to flow, love, and presence.
