Commemorating Lives Lost on October 7 and Its Aftermath (Melbourne)

Two years on from October 7, New Israel Fund Australia, Hashomer Hatzair Australia, Beit Tarbut, Meretz Australia and Jews and Friends for Ceasefire invite you to gather in Melbourne to honour all who have been lost—on that day and since. We will stand with the grieving and reflect on the ongoing journey toward healing, justice, and peace.

The vigil will include:
• Reflections from community voices
• Music and shared silence
• Mourner’s Kaddish
• Space for collective mourning and hope

We will remember the lives lost, and hold in our hearts all still living through fear and suffering—hostages and civilians in Gaza alike.

Let this be a moment of mourning, solidarity, and a call for peace.

This event is held in a spirit of dignity, compassion, and shared humanity.
