This annual event recognises the plight of Jewish refugees from Arab lands & Iran, and the integral role of Sephardi & Mizrahi Jews in our community.

This year's event will feature:

  • ECAJ Vice-President, Daniel Aghion KC, speaking on his family's journey via Spain & Egypt
  • A focus on Jewish life in Türkiye
  • An update from the Sydney Jewish Museum's dedicated Sephardi and Mizrahi Community Liaison
  • An exhibition on the Jewish refugees
  • Middle Eastern Jewish music & sweets
