Drone Pilot Lab is a flexible, hands-on training program designed to help you become a certified drone pilot and gain real flight experience.
Students complete online Part 107 test prep at their own pace, then attend optional weekly flight labs on Tuesday evenings* to practice flying using school-provided drones with guided instruction.
This program is ideal for beginners and professionals alike who want both the knowledge to pass the FAA certification exam and the hands-on skills to confidently operate a drone.
Enrollment includes 6 months of access to all online materials and in-person flight labs.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to enroll.
Students are responsible for scheduling and paying for their FAA Part 107 exam separately. Testing is available locally through SUU Testing Services: https://www.suu.edu/testing/specialized-testing.html
