Get your hands dirty, grow change, and build community!
Calling all UNSW students — especially our MEM fam! 💚
Join us at PermaBee, a volunteer-powered urban farming session held at Pocket City Farms — home to an urban farm, food forest, compost station, and eco-learning space right in the city!
🧤 Whether you're new to sustainability or knee-deep in your MEM coursework, this is your chance to:
🌿 Put theory into practice
🌻 Learn regenerative farming & food systems
🌱 Help green our city and nourish local communities
🌼 Connect with like-minded students and locals
What to bring:
🧢 A hat to keep cool
💧 A water bottle
🧴 Sunscreen
🧤 Your own gloves (if you prefer)
🥾 Sturdy, flat, enclosed shoes
🍲 We’ll wrap up with a mini potluck party — feel free to bring a dish or snack to share!
No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and willingness to get your hands dirty!
