COmmunicate Workshop with Lina Buck

Counihan Gallery is partnering with Bus Projects to present COmmunicate, a workshop about language by artist Lina Buck. Through language we engage with the world around us, igniting and supporting connections to family, culture, site and history. Delivered in two parts, artist Lina Buck will guide an open discussion on language, inviting participants to acknowledge, celebrate or honour language by choosing a word that resonates with them. It can be in any language and may be descriptive of an item, object, feeling, experience or motivation. Participants are then invited to make felt banners that can be taken home, shared with others, given as a gift, or just something familiar.

Suitable for all experience levels, ages 4 to adult.
