    Event description

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the second session of our communications network. This time the topic is ChatGPT with guest speaker Dr Karen Sutherland.

As the new word on everyone's lips these days, we will be exploring what the pros and cons are of its use within the philanthropy sector, and what its place might be.

During this virtual session we will dive into:

    • Pros: cost-effectiveness, personalisation and efficient interactions, scalability and flexibility.
    • Cons: Limited contextual understanding, dependence on data quality, privacy concerns.
    • Balancing the Pros and Cons: To gain the greatest value from ChatGPT, organisations need to carefully consider the benefits and risks of using the technology in relation to their specific needs and operations. Guidance on weighing up the pros and cons will be included in the session.
