Communication styles workshop
Event description
This session is for all UTS staff and teams who want to gain a deeper understanding of behavioural styles and enhance their working relationships. Improving versatility reduces tension in relationships and enables people to focus efficiently on the task to be done. Individuals and teams are better able to build productive relationships, handle conflict and create more focused, productive teams. The Communication Styles workshop is designed to enable UTS staff and teams to develop these skills. During this interactive workshop run by Blair Cornwel-Smith,(UTS 'Talent and Leadership Specialist'), you will learn about the Social Styles® model which is a simple, practical tool for understanding differences in “work style” and for working well with others who are very different from you, so that everyone’s strengths are respected and used well.
Also linked here are some Pre-reading materials on building communication capability for you to peruse through prior to the session.
