Community Capacity Building Workshop: Hosting an event in Georges River

Join us for a practical Community Capacity Building Workshop designed to support community groups, organisations, and active community members to strengthen their skills, build their capacity and enhance their understanding of planning and delivering community events.

This interactive session will provide valuable information, tools, and guidance to help participants:

  • Plan and deliver successful community events within the Georges River LGA

  • Identify funding and grant opportunities available to community organisations

  • Understand the event application process including bookings, fees, permits and approvals

  • Build organisational capacity and long-term sustainability

Whether you are part of an established community organisation, a newly formed group, or looking to bring a community initiative to life, this workshop will equip you with practical knowledge and resources to successfully plan and deliver community events in Georges River.
