Community Cinema at The Melting Pot - Blue Heart
Event description
🎬 Blue Heart
Join us for the second instalment of our Community Cinema series.
Combining stunning cinematography with rich personal stories, this sumptuous documentary chronicles communities fighting to save the last wild rivers of Europe.
On the Balkan Peninsula, between Slovenia and Albania, more than 3,000 proposed hydropower projects threaten to destroy the rich culture and biodiversity of this forgotten region. While dam projects in India or China have attracted international attention for their devastating impacts, the battle to save the “blue heart” of Europe has remained little known — until now.
