Community Clean-Up Week | Keep Palmy Beautiful

In celebration of New Zealand’s Clean Up Week (20th September - 27th September) by Keep New Zealand Beautiful, we are calling on all businesses in the CBD to join us for Palmy’s Clean Up Week and tidy up our CBD. Individual residents, students and community groups are all welcomed.

By participating, you won’t just help toclean up our city-centre environment, but also foster community spirit, showing that zero waste and sustainability matter to everyone.

Event details

Dates: Friday, 20th September & Monday, 23rd September

Time: 12 pm - 1 pm

Meeting point: The Square

Streets planned to cover: The Square and nearby shopfronts, Broadway Avenue, bars/clubs and Cuba Street

Please wear your bright and comfy outfit. Trash bags, gloves, pick-up sticks and water will be provided so no worries about the supplies, just show up ready to pitch in.

We’re also adding some extra fun! There will be some spot prizes for those who really shine on the day. Meaning that you could walk away with more than just a sense of pride, but with a little reward.
