Community Consult: Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusive ACT Health Services
Event description
We’re developing new guidelines for ACT Health around providing the best possible care for Trans & Gender Diverse (TGD) people!
If you’re a member of the Trans & Gender Diverse Community and use or have used an ACT Health Service, we want to hear from you! Parents of TGD kids, Parents who are themselves TGD, and older TGD folks are all perspectives we would particularly love to hear from, but we’re keen to speak with anyone from the community who wants to get involved!
We want to hear about your experiences (good AND bad) with healthcare services, as well as anything that can be a barrier to your healthcare access and anything that could make access easier.
The Community Consultation will take place on Saturday the 16th of November at AGA house, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The chats will be in person, but any information you choose to share will be recorded and reported anonymously.
Your time and experiences are valuable to us! Participants will be compensated for their time and assistance.
Our Community Family Picnic is on after this consultation, so feel free to hang around afterwards for the picnic!
Morning tea will be provided

We encourage all who come to events to wear a facemask and are double vaccinated (and where possible have received your booster shot) unless you have a medical exemption.
