Caloundra Community Development Opportunity - Nepal Field Trip 2025

Community Development Practitioners are invited to come together to hear about a recent field trip to Nepal with local Development NGO, Sahakarmi Samaj (www.sahakarmisamaj.org). This will include experiencing FEST - Facilitation for Empowerment and Social Transformation - their guiding approach to strengthening the capacity and voices of excluded communities.

You can expect to learn about how to hear the concerns of community and facilitate groups in bottom up, inclusive ways while having fun and connecting with your peers.

Money raised from tickets will support funding a creative arts project to accompany the launch of a book detailing the work of Sahakarmi Samaj, authored by Peter Westoby, Rachael Donovan, Ammar Bahadur Air and Amina Singh. Attendees will be able to make an additional donation to this project at the event if they wish.
