Focus on the Kids: Discipline, Youth Development and Restorative Justice

Join us on Wednesday, May 21, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on Zoom for Focus on the Kids: Discipline, Youth Development and Restorative Justice. Participants in this community forum will learn about data collected by WPS on student behavior and programs implemented by WPS to improve school climate and culture. The forum will include a presentation by Tom Toney, WPS Director of Positive Youth Development, presentations by staff from Citizens for Juvenile Justice and Center for Restorative Justice, and a question-and-answer period. This forum is intended for anyone with an interest in the Worcester Public Schools, including parents and caregivers, community agency staff, practitioners, policy makers, and education advocates.

Sponsored by the Worcester Education Collaborative and Worcester Education Equity Roundtable, this event is intended to help our community work together towards a stronger, more inclusive educational system for our children and our community.
