Community Fun Run 2024

Hurricane Stars Club invites you to join us for a morning of fun and fitness. All ages are welcome to join our 5km fun run at the Australian International Islamic College (Durack).

The winners of each category win a trophy and prize. We are honoured to have the trophies sponsored by the member for Moorooka Steve Griffiths.

Race categories are:

1.  5-11year olds
2. 12-17 year olds
3. 18-25 year olds
   
4. 25-40 year olds
5. 41-55 year olds
6. 55-70 year olds
7. 70+ year olds
8. Wheelchair/pram  

Attendees must register before attending. Strictly NO walk-in. Tickets are sold as individual tickets or as family of 5. If you family is bigger than a family of 5, you need to purchase extra tickets for additional family members. If someone is attending but not participating in the race - they also need to register and purchase a ticket. Children under 2 years old are free.

Everybody who registers will get a wrist band that gives them free access to:

• jumping castle
• face painting
• henna

Food vans at the event will charge for purchases. Laser tag and games will be at the event but there is a separate charge for these activities. Parking available on site and on the street. 

Registration starts at 7:30am.

Race begins at 8:30am

Prize giving ceremony at 10am.
