Community Gardening (Free)
Event description
Join us for our weekly Tuesday afternoon and/or Saturday morning gardening sessions at UC's community garden beds. We are located outside Zierholtz and the Student Lounge at the UC Hub, behind Building 1.
Get outdoors, grow seasonal produce and meet up with fellow gardening lovers! We've got all the gardening gear you need.
All experience levels welcome - open to people who live, work or study in Bruce or Belconnen aged 18-30.
No fees, parking across the road and refreshments provided.
Register below and we'll see you there!
You can select a once off "come and try" ticket type if you would like to come along for just one session, or if you would like to book in for 4 weeks of community gardening, select the 4 week ticket option and you will be registered for 4 weeks at a time.
Community gardening is part of Connect Up 2617, a research initiative run by UC's Health Research Institute (HRI) to strengthen social connection amongst 18-30 year olds in Belconnen and Bruce.
