Join us for this year’s Community Industry Group's Annual General Meeting and enjoy a morning of insights, networking, and inspiration.

We’re thrilled to welcome respected local Elder Aunty Barb Nicholson. She will speak about her work as an academic, writer and poet. She will share her extensive experience working to support Aboriginal people who are incarcerated to express themselves through creative writing.

After the meeting, join us for a light luncheon, a perfect chance to connect and discuss ideas in a beautiful setting.

Community Industry Group is the peak body working for community services and organisations in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern NSW regions. We take up issues across program areas that impact on the region's communities. The Group’s roles include promoting the wellbeing of diverse communities, resourcing and supporting community service organisations, information provision, pursuing social justice strategies, building expertise in community services and representational roles. Membership is open to community based social or welfare organisations that are based in, or work in, the South East NSW region, and to individuals.
