Event description

Community Kōrero: Celebrating Youth Leadership 2024 is a virtual event marking the second anniversary of the Rangatahi Leadership Opportunities Database (RLOD) during Youth Week 2024. The event brings together community members of all ages to celebrate and discuss the past, present, and future of youth leadership in Aotearoa New Zealand. It's a moment to reaffirm our commitment to breaking down barriers and creating equitable opportunities for all rangatahi.

Programme Highlights:

    • Hear from a panel of extraordinary young leaders as they share their insights, wisdom, and journey in youth leadership.
    • Join the kōrero (conversation) and contribute your whaakaro (thoughts) on how to encourage more young people to participate in youth leadership. Your voice matters! Help shape the future of youth leadership.
    • Explore the Rangatahi Leadership Opportunities Database (RLOD) kaupapa and learn how you can get involved from our RLOD Project Lead, Marie Landingin.
    • Connect with a diverse array of individuals, spanning generations, backgrounds, and industries, as we unite to empower and uplift our community.
    • Participate in interactive polls and win spot prizes!
