Community Leadership Masterclass - Next Gen Awards 2023
Event description
Have you ever wanted to make a difference in your local community? Our Community Leaders masterclass has been designed to show young people how they can do exactly that as they develop a product, service or initiative to support people in their local community.
Whether it’s a robot that delivers groceries to the elderly, or a bin that gives you a round of applause when you put rubbish in it, our community leaders masterclass has been designed to show young people how they can make a difference in their community in some fun and creative ways.
In this masterclass, students will be working to identify challenges in their local community, before then thinking big to see how they can solve these challenges in fun and creative ways. Attendees will be looking around the world to see what other countries are doing to get more people eating fruit and vegetables, using the stairs as opposed to the escalator and even recycling properly. They will be taking inspiration from these quirky innovations as they create their own for their local community.
