Community Guided Wellbeing Nature Walk

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Time spent in nature benefits the mind, body and soul. A stroll outdoors is a welcome opportunity to step away from our stream of thoughts and return to our sensing body. Join Wellbeing through Nature program coordinator Sally Holliday to take a mindful meander through Bluetts Block. This precious pocket of bushland overlooks the suburb of Denman Prospect.

Though you won't find it marked on a map, once inside its perimeter you will find yourself transported. This healthland habitat is home to an abundance of wildlife including rare orchids and birds, frogs, lizards and insects to name a few. This stroll is all about slowing down, attuning our senses, expanding our awareness and appreciating our surroundings. Upon concluding the walk, pop down to the Denman Community Hub for refreshments and continued conversation.

Registered attendees will be sent a pin location on the map with the complete address a few days prior to the workshop.

Date: Saturday 11 June

Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Venue: Bluetts Block, Denman Prospect
