🌱 Community Grasslands Planting Day 🌾
Join Brimbank Council's Conservation team for a hands-on, exciting day of giving back to nature! We're bringing the Deer Park community together to help restore our local grasslands at Bon Thomas Reserve — an essential habitat for lizards, pollinators, and countless other species.
What to Expect:

Planting native grasses, wildflowers and shrubs 🌼

Learning about the importance of grasslands for the local ecosystem 🐝

Meeting like-minded neighbours and enjoying the fresh air ☀️

Light refreshments and fun activities for kids!
What to Bring:

Closed-toe shoes and long pants

Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)

Gloves (optional—we’ll have extras!)
