Come and spend the morning planting native species in Kingston Park!

The City of Holdfast Bay has recently expanded this verge to improve safety and drainage. This has given us some additional space to create a large biodiverse verge to add to the rich natural environment that already exists in Kingston Park. We would like to invite you to join us for a fun morning of planting and be rewarded with a coffee!

This will be an opportunity to be involved in the improvement of this area, and to get to know other local residents and the wider community.

Please arrive at 10.15am to allow time for registrations. Bring along gardening gloves and a small hand trowel, wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, closed toe shoes and a hat or rain jacket (depending on the weather). We will provide any additional tools and equipment that are needed. Children will need to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Bookings are essential so we can make sure we have enough equipment for everyone.
