Event description

Come and spend the morning planting native species in Seacliff dunes!

The City of Holdfast Bay has been working to improve the dunes ecosystem for approximately 20 years. Since the installation of the new access ramp, we have some areas that we would like to rehabilitate to improve this thriving dune ecosystem. In collaboration with the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club, we would like to invite you to join us for a fun morning of planting.

This will be an opportunity to be involved in the transformation of this area, and to get to know other local residents and the wider community.

Please arrive at 9.45am to allow time for registrations. Bring along gardening gloves and a small hand trowel, wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, closed toe shoes and a hat or rain jacket (depending on the weather). We will provide any additional tools and equipment that are needed. Children will need to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Bookings are essential so we can make sure we have enough equipment for everyone.
