Maccabi JCA Community Running / Walking Team
Event description
Maccabi Community has teamed up with JCA to launch a new initiative called the JCA Maccabi Community Group.
Run or Walk with the Community is the result of a collaboration between Maccabi NSW and JCA to help more people in the community improve their fitness levels and connect with other like-minded people through run/walk training sessions.
Whether you are a season runner or not, we want our greater family to be part of this!
FREE training sessions
- every Sunday morning (excluding Jewish holidays),
- 2 groups - runners and walkers
- run/walk for 45-60'
- meet for a coffee, nibbles after
- thought leader will give a brief inspirational talk (program to come)
Meeting spot for the Eastern Suburbs will be at the JBE - 56 Roscoe St, Bondi Beach NSW 2026
Meeting spot for the North Shore will be at Chabad North Shore - 27 College Cres, St Ives NSW 2075
The weekly sessions are at no cost and you don't have to join the City2Surf team - but if you do choose to join the JCA Maccabi Community Team at City2Surf then please click here to register (this cost goes directly to the organisers of City2Surf)
Already registered for City2Surf but want to join the team - contact team-programs@ironman.com, state your name and that you want to join the JCA Maccabi team (there is no additional cost).
Benefits for joining the JCA Maccabi Community Team, include:
- Help promote, motivate, and inspire you to reach your fitness goals
- Meet new people and network with like minded individuals
- Improve fitness, clear your mind and, + we’ll watch their kids while they train (more info to come)
- Listen to interesting speakers, inspiring individuals and thought leaders of our community
- Lastly, by being a part of our team, we want you to run (walk, stroll or schmooze) with a JCA Maccabi Community Team t-shirt or hat. This will be given out at the end of the program and ready for the C2S day.
