Community Seed Raising

We need your help! With the constantly changing conditions of COVID-19, the lockdowns have slowed down our seed raising endeavours for our new community garden. If you have time, space, sun and water, we'd love you to help us. We will provide you with a selection of seeds (30 seasonal vegetables and flowers), some seed raising mix, punnets and trays, and a 'How To' guide should you need it. 

The steps:

1) Pick up the above from Newlands and East Coburg 

Newlands Pick Up: Saturday 9th October 9-10.30am

East Coburg Pick Up: Saturday 9th October 11-12.30pm 

2) Nurture those little friends in your homes with warmth and water as needed.

3) Return only some of the plants (about 5-10) to Newlands or East Coburg for us to pop in the ground, but you can hold onto the rest to plant in your own or friends gardens :)

Newlands Drop Off: Saturday 6th November 9-10.30am

East Coburg Drop Off: Saturday 6th November 11-12.30pm
