Community Sewing Session September
Description
Get creative and give back to your community! Join us for a fun sewing workshop where you’ll help create reusable library bags for our community to borrow.
No sewing experience necessary our instructor Lynde will assist you to sew these bags— just bring your creativity and help us stitch something that will be enjoyed again and again. All materials provided.
These are 1 hour sessions where you should be able to sew 1 library bag. If you would like to stay and sew more please book additional tickets.
Please Note: These are free sessions due to the bags remaining at the Library for the community to borrow. You will not take anything home from this session. Picture of bags is an example fabric choices will differ on the day.
Please note that due this event/course running in the Makerspace enclosed footwear is essential. Safety instructions must be followed at all times and other safety equipment may be required to be worn depending on the activity.
By attending this event you consent for you, and any persons you are responsible for, being photographed and/or filmed and agree that the City of Campbelltown may use the resulting photographs and film for promotional purposes, including by publishing them in print and other media. Please see one of our event staff if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
Children aged 12 and under will require an adult to be present in the library at all times. You are welcome to browse the library or wait outside the event but must be contactable throughout the event.
