Cultivating Community's Lifelong Learning programs cover Horticulture and Cooking.
Our Horticulture programs are immersive experiences across Secondary Schools, Tertiary Education, Community Groups and Businesses. These include therapeutic horticulture and gardening ideas, workshops, facilitated green gatherings, practical food waste ideas and skills to improve your food supply, compost knowledge and environmental skills as well as consider positive impact on biodiversity and nature.
Our Cooking Programs focus on 3 key areas:
Cooking for Independence
Cooking for Connection
Cooking for Employment
These programs are designed to create opportunities to thrive and strong social connections, with a focus on individual, community and environmental wellbeing. We strive to remove barriers to employment, improve social justice and build food & horticultural literacy amongst individuals and communities.
