Community Tech Lab: Showcase Hui

Join us to see what three teams of local software engineers have built for three Queenstown-lakes community organisations.

Over five weeks, each team worked alongside one organisation on a practical tool to make their mahi easier:

• Tāhuna Glenorchy Dark Sky Sanctuary,

• Whakatipu Reforestation Trust and

• Queenstown Mountain Bike Club.

On the night, the teams will walk through what they built, how it works and what they learned along the way.

It’s a relaxed evening with drinks and nibbles, and a good chance to meet the engineers, the organisations and others in the local tech community.

The Showcase Hui is hosted by FLINT Queenstown as its Q4 event. Community Tech Lab is funded by the QLDC Economic Diversification Fund and delivered by six local partners:

1. Startup Queenstown Lakes,

2. Queenstown Coders Connect,

3. FLINT Queenstown,

4. Queenstown Resort College,

5. huddl and

6. Technology Queenstown.
