Community WasteWise End-of-Year Celebration 2026

Auckland Council's Community WasteWise Team and LEAD warmly invite you to an End-of-Year Celebration.

This year, community partners across Tāmaki Makaurau kept tonnes of material out of landfill, and supported thousands of Aucklanders to live with less waste. Much of that work happens quietly and without fanfare. Before the year ends, we want to pause and celebrate it together.

This is a relaxed, social event for the people behind the Community WasteWise programme: staff, volunteers, board members and the Council team. And an opportunity to meet us! LEAD is excited to be joining the Community WasteWise whānau, we'll be working to support you through the delivery of the regular Skill Share hui and capability building initiatives.

There will be no workshops and no agenda to work through. Bring a cuppa and join us online to look back, look ahead and share a few laughs along the way. There'll be some unforgettable activities and a chance to reconnect with others doing similar work.
