Event description

Invitation to a Community Conversation: Developing a Compassionate Village- Responding to Distress in Our Local Community

We're collaborating with Brisbane North PHN and Bardon Safe Space to develop a 'Compassionate Village' and we would love for you to be a part of it.

The Compassionate Village network will aim to create a heart-based, connected community that supports individuals through additional options for support, bridges gaps to care, and shares knowledge and resources. Together, we want to learn from people with lived experience and build our community capacity to respond to distress with compassion and support.

When: Tuesday 25th February, from 10am-12pm
Location: Ithaca Hall. 99 Enoggera Terrace, Red Hill
Catering will be provided

Registrations are essential - please register via Humanitix by 5pm Thursday 20th February.

If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact Katie on 0403 701 549 or katies@communify.org.au

This does not require any specialist mental health or support training, so no matter your role in the local community, please join us in brainstorming ways to create connected spaces for accessing both informal and formal support.
