AM Workshop
Compelling Leadership: Trust and Transformational Leadership

The key to compelling leadership is the creation of a culture of trust. Trust enables people to flourish. It improves wellbeing, student learning and opens the way to innovation. But how do you create a culture of trust: In the way that you lead.

Paul Browning, author of the best-selling leadership book, “Principled: 10 leadership practices that build trust” has run the Compelling Leadership workshop to well over 4,000 school and corporate leaders across several countries.

Through a facilitated combination of group discussions, pair discussions and personal reflection time participants will have the opportunity to pause and reflect on their own leadership practices, identifying strengths and areas that they think they may need to develop. As an outcome, participants may decide to administer the Trust and Transformational Leadership Assessment Rubric in their own organisation to help them understand their staffs’ perception of their leadership.

PM Workshop
Optimising the Conditions for Learning

Creating the optimal environment for learning involves aligning several key elements within a school. These essential conditions include:

  1. School culture
  2. Student engagement
  3. Teacher agency and empowerment
  4. Quality of teaching
  5. Systems to promote professional growth
  6. Approaches to leadership
  7. Focus on higher-order cognitive skills

However, aligning and maximising all seven areas to create a dynamic and innovative learning environment can feel overwhelming—especially in a system facing crises on multiple fronts. With teachers stretched thin and schools barely keeping afloat, the question arises: Where do you even begin to transform your school into a cutting-edge institution?

This 2-hour interactive workshop offers school leaders the opportunity to identify the obstacles holding them back. Together, participants will analyse whether these barriers are real or perceived and unlock new ways to move forward.

The workshop will inspire leaders to reimagine possibilities by addressing these key questions:

  • What data would empower you to make meaningful improvements?
  • How can you promote teacher wellbeing while also growing their professional capacity?
  • What strategies can enhance student engagement and foster the critical skills needed to thrive in the AI era?

Join us for this practical, thought-provoking session designed to reignite your leadership journey. Walk away with actionable insights, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of purpose for leading meaningful change in your school.
