Join us for this intensive, hands on, practical workshop as we explore the basics of making compost and fermentation based biofertilisers on farm. This workshop will give you practical tips and recipes. The workshop will be held on farm.

    Workshop Content
    Biofertilisers
    • The range of biological products on the market.
    • Basic biotechnologies: aerated, ferments and worm products
    • How to make some simple Starter Cultures, biofertilisers and bioferments.
    Composting
    • On farm composting: aerobic & fermentation
    • Making compost on-farm using the SPICE approach.

    Presenters:

    Led by agroecologist David Hardwick, one of Australia’s leading regenerative agriculture extension specialists. This is an essential workshop for anyone who wants to get serious about making and/or using composts and biofertilisers.

    Venue & Catering

    The workshop will be hosted by Gill Sanbrook on Bibbaringa, an amazing farm and education facility 40 minutes from Albury, NSW.
    Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Teas are included in the workshop fee.


    Places & Conditions

    Places in this workshop are limited to 30. A minimum of 10 people are required for the event to go ahead. In the event that the workshop does not go ahead due to minimum numbers not being reached or due to unforseen events such as COVID, a full refund will be given 7 days before the course commences.


    Accommodation

    A number of accommodation options are available including through Bibbaringa, down the road at the Great Aussie Caravan Park and in Albury.
