Composting 101 for kinder and primary teachers
Event description
Reducing food waste and composting the scraps at kinder/school is a great way to show kids the cycle of food, compost, food growing, eating again.
Compost is a useful addition to your garden, and can save money buying compost to use. Successful composting is no mystery, and it doesn’t require a lot of money or time to get it right. Once you have the method down pat, you can compost almost anywhere!
This session will give you the basics on composting to get you started and ensure you’re doing it right, as well as outlining a few different composting methods that you may find work better for your situations.
