The North Perth Community Garden is located at 10 Farmer Street, North Perth, behind the Vincent Community Shed and adjacent to the Farmer Street Arts Studio. and is bound by a wire fence- the entrance gate read "NPCG". Please check and abide by parking and street signs, Public transport: The North Perth Community Garden is accessible by public transport. The closest train station is Leederville Train Station. There are also bus stops on the north-bound (west side) of Fitzgerald street, "Fitzgerald Street after Farmer Street", and south-bound (on the east side) of Fitzgerald Street, "Fitzgerald Street After York Street", serviced by bus routes 19 & 960. Please check schedules and plan your journey in advance by visiting or contacting TransPerth, https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au Bicycle parking: Please note participants are welcome to travel by bicycle.

Upon arriving at the North Perth Community Garden, please check in with a City of Vincent staff member. Please retain a digital copy of your ticket/s to show staff upon arrival.
After entry instructions
A City of Vincent staff member will provide a formal welcome and introduce the workshop facilitator, Emma from the North Perth Community Garden, who will provide an overview of the session before commencing.
Hazards
This event is held outdoors within the North Perth Community Garden- participants are requested to wear sun-smart, weather appropriate clothing, closed in shoes, hat, sunglasses. The ground is unsealed/unpaved and may be uneven sand and grass, with narrow walkways between garden beds. This workshop includes hands-on components that may involve bending, squatting, and handling and/or being around organic materials such as compost and soil. Some seats will be available for rest breaks under an outdoor covered area.
Toilet location
A single toilet is available inside the Farmer Street Studio- please note this is not an accessible toilet.
Accessible parking
Limited Street parking is available along Farmer Street, Namur Street and surrounding areas. There is also a gravel parking area next to the Vincent Community Shed off Farmer Street. Please note there are no marked ACROD bays in the area. Please contact City of Vincent in advance of this event if you require assistance on the day.
