composting with y/our community: a disorganising workshop
Event description
A couple of weeks ago, a group of disorganising collaborators met to compost our practices. To take up composting as a metaphor to pay attention to what is transforming, to what needs to be transformed, individually and collectively, in and through our practices.
This time we extend an invitation to Collingwood Yards (its tenants and broader community) to compost y/our community. To take stock, together, of y/our relationship to place, to other tenants, and to those (human and more-than-human) gathering in and through your practices.
The workshop will take the format of shared conversations and (online) wanderings, facilitated by one of the disorganising collaborators, Jacina Leong.
Who can attend As we will be thinking with and about Collingwood Yards, anyone with an existing connection to this place, such as tenants, are welcome to attend; we also invite those familiar with Collingwood Yards, including visitors and neighbours, to join us
What to bring Bring a cuppa, a notebook or pieces of paper, and something to draw and write with
How to join the workshop The workshop will be delivered via Zoom. You will receive a registration link and passcode from us 24 hours before the workshop is scheduled, which will enable you to join the workshop on the day. You may need to register for a Zoom account beforehand
