Comprehensive Literacy K-12 Grant Preparation Boot Camp (live virtual)

Schools and districts that intend to submit applications for the upcoming Ohio Department of Education and Workforce K-12 Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant (CLSD) competition have several steps you need to take in order to be eligible to compete for this grant. EnvisionEdPlus has assisted Ohio districts and ESCs in preparing highly successful literacy grant proposals that have garnered more than $6.3 million and supported thousands of students in improving their literacy skills. If your leadership team needs support in developing or updating a Local Literacy Plan, determining appropriate evidence-based strategies that meet your local needs, and preparing a competitive grant proposal - EnvisionEdPlus' Comprehensive Literacy Grant K-12 Preparation Boot Camp (live virtual) is for you! 

BRING YOUR LITERACY LEADERSHIP TEAM - each session will include facilitated work time! 
All sessions are 9am-12pm and will be live virtual via Zoom. Sessions will not be recorded.

• BootCamp Session 1: What's Our WHY? (Thursday, January 16, 9am-12pm)
  • High-Quality Data and Root Cause Analysis 
• BootCamp Session 2: Setting the Course  (Thursday, January 23, 9am-12pm)
  • Goal Setting and Action Planning
• BootCamp Session 3: What Works for OUR Kids? (Thursday, January 30, 9am-12pm)
  • Identifying key evidence-based strategies and resources
• BootCamp Session 4: Engaging and Supporting Staff (Thursday, February 6, 9am-12pm)   
  • Managing Adult Implementation through a Comprehensive Staff Professional Development Plan

BootCamp fee:

• $250 per session for each school or district team (no maximum number of participants) or 
• $1,000 for all 4 sessions

Grant Writing Support Discount: EnvisionEdPlus will offer a $1,500 discount on Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant (CLSD) grant writing services for any district/school that participates in all 4 sessions. (Note: We are unable to provide the cost estimates on grant writing services until after the DEW releases the RFP, but in 2020 we charged about $8,500 for each grant.)
