ComputeFest 2024: Discover Tech Studies at UniMelb!

💻 🌟 ComputeFest is an opportunity for anyone in Year 10 - 12 who's interested in studying a STEM-related degree to get their first taste of tech at UniMelb!

ComputeFest is CISSA's largest high school event, taking place on June 29th at UniMelb.

If you don't know us yet: CISSA is the largest tech club at UniMelb, hosting events throughout the year for all students specialising in technology and building a community for all tech-lover students!

We'll be taking you through:

• Industry Experience in Technology Panel: Hear from speakers at Atlassian, CBA, and Airwallex during an informative panel.
• Personal Uni Experiences Sharing Panel: Learn about what it's like to be a science student at UniMelb, studying tech (computer science, data science, technology design, engineering, etc.).
• Programming Workshops: Cover the basics of Python with our tutors, who will guide you through hands-on coding, step by step, with no prior experience required!

And much more! 📚 ✨

We encourage you to come along if you're in high school, or tell anyone you know who might be interested!

Registration ends: Friday, 28th of June, 11:55 pm

Cancellation Policy: Please cancel at least 3 days before the event if you can't make it, so we can get an accurate count of attendees. Although the tickets are free for Victorian high school students, we appreciate your respect for the time and effort put into organising the event.
