Concertina Convergence 2025

A convergence of concertina enthusiasts held on the weekend of January 31st to February 2nd  2025, to coincide with  World Concertina Day.  The birth date (February 6th) of the acknowledged inventor of the concertina, Charles Wheatstone, has been declared to be World Concertina Day to promote this marvelous machine. 

This weekend event follows on from Yackandandah in 2018 and Goulburn in 2023. It is a participatory event  including a range of formal and informal activities - workshops, concerts, demonstrations, tutoring, as well as socialising. Players of all abilities will find inspiration and a greater appreciation of the concertina in its many forms, anglo, english, and duet.

All attendees will need to purchase a ticket for entry. This is to cover venue hire and incidental expenses such as morning teas and printing.
