Subject matter: Navigating our own grief and supporting others in grief

What to expect: Billy will explore guiding people in decision-making when they are grieving, channelling grief into positive activity and creating meaning, balancing directness with deep empathy when talking to others who are moving through grief. Ellie will explore self-care and giving ourselves space to heal and ground before we move too fast when navigating grief, how we show up in life and to our work and what can prevent us from showing up effectively with a grieving family,

We will also explore some cultural things/waiata relating to grief, and the idea of ritual in farewells

There will be some discussion around connecting with why we do what we do, and how we can bring our own personal flair to an otherwise quite emotional and sometimes heavy space.
