Connect to Country for Wellbeing at Oatley Park
Event description
Join Uncle Dean Kelly and Aunty Calita Murray for a yarn and a walk on Country along the Oatley Park foreshore, where they will share traditional knowledge about how the local landscape and native plants have supported wellbeing in many ways here in the Georges River area for tens of thousands of years.
This event will finish with a FREE Lions Club barbeque lunch, with water and soft drinks provided.

Please note that the Walk on Country includes narrow dirt paths with uneven ground, rocks, tree roots and stairs so please be mindful of your own access requirements.
We encourage all attendees to bring a bottle of water and wear appropriate, solid walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
This is not a gender-specific event.
Children are welcome to attend this event but must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times.
