Event description

Join us for a community celebration and screening of 'Connecting Culture', a short film created by videographer, Jacqueline Schultz.

'Connecting Culture' immerses viewers in the connections woven between traditional owners, local community, and landholders in the Indigo Valley. Through a series of traditional workshops and walks led by Indigenous elders, participants embark on a journey of cultural discovery and community bonding. Guided by local wisdom, each moment fosters a deeper sense of belonging and stewardship for the land.
As barriers dissolve, a beautiful harmony emerges among the diverse group of participants, celebrating the richness of Indigenous heritage and the power of collaborative efforts in building a united community.
‘Connecting Culture’ is a poignant portrayal of reconciliation, showcasing the transformative potential of cultural exchange and collective action in forging a future of unity and respect for all.

Meet local elders, and be part of a discussion about opportunities for future collaboration.
