This three-hour outline will cover:
- Outline the emergence, key developments and ruptures in Celtic culture.
- Explore working with place in the context of Gaelic paganism.
- Unearth the possibilities and tensions associated with reconstructionist and eclectic paganisms.
- Discuss what it means to reclaim your pagan roots, while living on the colonised land of another pagan/Indigenous people?
- Together outline how to get started and/or deepen your pagan practices.
- A reading / watching / listening list will be handed out at the end of the class.
In this three-hour introductory workshop, Colm will guide you into the mysteries, riches and contradictions associated with a Gaelic form of paganism. Whether you are beginner or with a deep and grounded knowledge of this tradition in Gaeilge, Colm’s presentation will inform and challenge you.
No prior knowledge is needed. People of all faiths, ethnicities and persuasions are invited, all that is required is a curious mind!
