Join youth worker Amber for a fun-filled session where we will explore how to nurture and build strong relationships with your teens! In this engaging and interactive workshop, we will dive into effective communication strategies, trust-building activities, and ways to support and understand your teenagers better. Amber will share valuable insights and practical tips to help you connect with your teens on a deeper level, fostering a positive and supportive environment for their growth and development. This 1 hour session is followed by a 30 minute Q&A.

This session is led by Amber, a Canterbury-based youth worker with over 15 years of experience. In addition to being a mum, Amber has worked with youth in various contexts, including supporting ākonga in alternative education and supporting Ōtautahi teens after the Christchurch Earthquakes. In addition to mahi with Canterbury teens, Amber also provides supervision for other Canterbury youth workers.
