Travel instructions
Balam Balam Place is in the heart of Brunswick arts precinct, close to Brunswick City Baths and the public library. To get to Balam Balam Place from the stations: From Brunswick Station or Jewell Station, walk for about 8 minutes to reach Balam Balam Place. Closest railway stations are Brunswick and Jewell both of which are an 8 minute walk, you can also access the location via the No. 19 tram or the 506 bus, which are a 2-minute walk from the location and stop at Sydney Road and Glenlyon Road. Some street parking is available directly outside.
Entry instructions
Enter via the main entrance on Phoenix St. There is an accessible path to entrance from parking or public transport. The paths are well lit at night.
After entry instructions
Enter through the main doors, adjacent to the cafe. Use lifts to come to 2nd floor where you will find room 203. Floor levels and room numbers are clearly signposted. Please see www.balambalamplace.com.au for more information. Instagram page - balam balam place.
Hazards
After 8pm the main door is not accessible for re-entry without a code. This is to avoid the public coming in after hours once building caretaker have left for the day. If you need to exit the building and return for any reason please let one of us know.
Toilet location
Accessible toilets on each floor. Clearly marked on each floor.
Accessible parking
There is DDA parking available in Phoenix Street to the north of the building (marked on maps). Paid all-day parking is available on Dawson Street opposite Brunswick Baths. Visitors can park in Woolworths carpark on Phoenix Street for up to 90 minutes, after which is paid. 2 hour off street parking is also available nearby.
