Event description

Sexual Empowerment and Embodiment for Female Bodies

This is a fully clothed workshop and is for people in female bodies only – teenagers and adults.

An adult participant must accompany participants under 18 years of age.

And you don’t need to be in a relationship to benefit from this workshop, what we’ll explore will greatly enhance your understanding of Self and will bring benefits to future relationship/s.

Everything we need and want to know about intimacy and pleasure is not covered in school sex education, and most of us didn’t grow up in sex positive environments where we could ask parents how to become good at intimacy and experience more pleasure.

With sex and related topics falling in the taboo category, many seek answers and education via magazines and instantly available pornography. Unfortunately these sources are not the reality of love and intimacy, and instead create feelings of performance anxiety, fear of expectation and agenda, and a warped body image. Many people are connecting with others with an overactive mind rather than being, feeling and expressing from the body.

Intimacy cannot be forced or hurried. Expectation and agenda kill arousal.

Would you like to feel more embodied?

Would you like to feel more sexually empowered?

Would you like to feel more relaxed and open during intimacy?

Would you like to better understand your partner and learn ways to powerfully communicate your needs, desires and boundaries?

Are you longing for deeper intimacy and connection?

Would you like to expand your pleasure potential?

If you desire all of this for your daughter but you’re not sure exactly how, this workshop is for you.

Discovering new patterns and pathways is often easier when we’re in the familiar and nurturing home frequency space with sisters.

This workshop shines light on what’s missing within intimate relationships to create new levels of understanding, communication and pathways to fulfilling and empowered intimacy.

I see many female-bodied clients who are not able to express their needs, desires and boundaries. Many express the desire to sexually empower their children, however they have no idea where to start because they don’t feel sexually empowered themselves. Many people have been exposed to sexual taboo and are not practiced in expressing their body’s needs and desires confidently.

I was drawn to this path for my own embodied healing and this naturally inspired my passion to share this with others. As someone who often experienced pain/discomfort during sexual penetration, was not practiced in communicating my body’s Yes’s & No’s, and my needs and desires; I’m excited to share all of this with you! It’s made a huge difference in my world, and feedback from clients expressing the difference it’s making for them, lights me up and inspires me to share more.

In this workshop we’ll explore:
- Embodiment

- Consent and boundaries

- Full body consent – “yes” and “no”

- Embodied intimacy

- Self indulgence – expressing your needs and desires

- Pathways to deep and fulfilling pleasure

- Reclaiming sexual empowerment

- The myth of telepathy

- Empowered communication

- Having "the talk" with potential partners

- Understanding primal instincts

All of the nourishing Somatic practices and exercises are offered as an invitation and opportunity to explore and learn. Your level of participation is your choice. Embodied consent is a powerful learning and practice. A “No” to someone else is a “Yes” to yourself.

We will expand, embody and ground this workshop content by moving into some somatic (body) practices with Jo Howard.

Activating and releasing the body with movement, and an energy-block release sequence - unwinding old pattens that have held us back in the past, and setting new neural pathways learned in the workshop. We will practice a tree of transformation to draw back any power lost to a past situation.

And finish with a deep relaxation and a special meditation exploring and discovering any parts of us such as people-pleasing, not comfortable with consent, a sense of obligation parts or vulnerable parts that may need some loving kindness from ourselves.
