Event description
We’re heading out on the enchanting Fairyland Loop in Lane Cove National Park, a gentle, easy-going walk through lush bushland and riverside scenery. We’ll take our time and enjoy a relaxed pace. Perfect for nature lovers, beginner hikers, and anyone eager to connect with the outdoors.
You can also join in on an optional bioblitz! We’ll pause to spot local birdlife and learn about native plants. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or just grazing the trails, this is a wonderful way to explore, swap stories, and build community from the ground up.
What to expect:
A serene 5 km loop, taking roughly 1 – 1½ hours at a gentle pace.
A blend of well-marked forest paths, boardwalks, and riverside views with minimal elevation change
Just bring your walking shoes, a water bottle, and maybe a hat.
