Constitutional Change for the Classroom: Free Webinar for Educators
Event description
Help Students understand what a First Nations Voice to Parliament means. What is a referendum? What is self-determination? What is the Uluru Statement from the Heart?
Reconciliation NSW is partnering with the team at the Uluru Dialogues and the Indigenous Law Centre at UNSW to host a webinar exclusively for educators to learn more about the Uluru Statement from the Heart and a Voice to Parliament protected in the Australian Constitution.
Join us for an informational webinar created especially for educators who are exploring issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples related to the proposed Voice to Parliament and the Uluru statement. This session will assist teachers of history, society and culture, legal studies, geography, political studies and more, and will include a presentation, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
Speakers:
